The Chaplainís post nominal apply to those Ecclesiastical members who hold a specific appointment:  Chaplain-General,  Vice Chaplain-General, Priory Chaplain, or Commandery Chaplain.

Advancement in Rank is at the discretion of the Grand Magistery.  Promotion is normally in recognition of specific service to the Order or work towards the Aims of the Order.


The Order also has three grades of Order of Merit. This award is made at the discretion of the Grand Magistery to both members and non-members of the Order.
